1. Operator and scope

I Have a Layover is operated by Brilliant Sky, LLC, based in Arizona, USA. This acknowledgment applies to the website and its planning tools, flight information, suggested activities, routes, time budgets, return estimates, and alerts (the “Service”).

2. No assurance of timely return or boarding

The Service is provided for general information and travel-planning assistance only. Brilliant Sky, LLC makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any suggested activity or itinerary can be completed within your available layover, or that you will return to the airport, complete check-in or security procedures, reach your departure gate, or board any flight before the applicable cutoff. A displayed return deadline, available-time calculation, or airport buffer is not an assurance that you will make your flight.

3. Unpredictable conditions and third-party information

Actual conditions may differ materially from estimates and may change without notice. Relevant variables include traffic, road closures, weather, transportation availability and delays, walking speed, accessibility needs, personal delays, venue hours and queues, baggage procedures, airport layout and terminal transfers, security screening, customs and immigration, gate changes, boarding cutoffs, and airline schedule changes.

Maps, location readings, flight status, opening hours, notifications, and other third-party information may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or interrupted. Alerts may not be delivered. The Service does not control airlines, airports, screening authorities, transportation providers, or other third parties.

4. Your responsibility and acknowledgment of risk

You are responsible for independently verifying current flight information and the applicable check-in, baggage, security, immigration, boarding, and gate-closure requirements with your airline and the relevant authorities. You must decide whether leaving the airport is appropriate for your circumstances, allow sufficient additional time for uncertainty, monitor official updates, and follow airline and airport instructions. Boarding and gate closure may occur before the published departure time.

You acknowledge the risk of missed flights, missed connections, denied boarding, and additional expense when leaving the airport or relying on estimates, and you accept responsibility for your travel decisions. Do not treat a delayed flight, suggested itinerary, route, time budget, or alert as permission to depart later or reduce your return margin.

5. Availability and estimates

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and its estimates are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties concerning their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability for your particular itinerary.

6. Limitation of liability; rights preserved

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brilliant Sky, LLC disclaims liability for missed flights or connections, denied boarding, and resulting losses, costs, or expenses arising from reliance on the Service, including replacement tickets, change fees, accommodation, transportation, or lost reservations.

Nothing in this acknowledgment excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited. Nothing here waives consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be waived.

7. Express acceptance

Before using the Service, you must affirmatively acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Travel Risk Acknowledgment and Disclaimer. Reading this page, closing a notice, or declining does not constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
